A FUTURE

NATURE
D Extract
In 2016 we identified Amphidinium Carerae as the first micro-algae with a role to play in the control of plant diseases. The naturel molecules it produces combat a broad spectrum of plant disease-causing fungi.
The ImmunRise Biocontrol team formulates these natural molecules into leaf and seed treatments.
Our research
Immunrise Biocontrol France (IBF) specialises in the research and development of bio pesticide solutions and natural defence stimulators. IBF was founded in December 2016 in Pessac (Gironde) following the identification of a micro-algae strain with anti-fungal properties. The micro-algae is part of the the dinoflagellate family. This species is found in several seas and oceans around the world.
IBF utilizes its pioneering expertise in marine biology and agroecology, to develop new biocontrol products.
Production
4 year’s work and mico-algae production trials in photobioreactors (PBR), have resulted in two specifications, one for indoor crops and the other for outdoor crops.
The microalgae’s productivity performance are observed in various PBR technologies. This frees production from volume and costs constraints associated with the biopesticide market.
The planned production scale-up in 2027 will enable production of the hundreds of tonnes required to meet the needs of the international market. This will coincide with the acquisition of marketing approvals.
What others have to say
THIS MICRO-ALGAE HAS THE ABILITY TO PRODUCE A MOLECULE TO DEFEND ITSELF AGAINST FUNGI, THE SCOURGE OF GRAPE-GROWERS.
THIS HERALDS ANOTHER PROMISING PATH, A CALL ON NATURE.
THE SEAWEED SOLUTION.
